my game of perception

borders are borders

while believing in the benefits of loyalty

writing about political philosophy

promoting the benefits of the Swiss executive style

you're always ( or i felt always )

between a rightwing secret service who can't wait to poison the next revolutionary

  - so i kept poisoning myself smoking weed -

or to send him in one of the many wars die as a terrorist against a dictator

  - which i thought i've done my share serving in the Swiss military ,

hence or anyway not into the need to know how < it feels like > -

and the leftwing activists triggerhappy to point on someone and call him a nazi

  - mirror mirror -

or to have him swallowed by the social security system to be profited by doctors

  - couldn't resist those ...

.

nevertheless i always tried to find a middle-way

all while insisting on my point of the good idea that is collegial leadership

in a way that wouldn't offend neither , nor the right , nor the left ,

all while provoking the centre , those who should know better or best .

.

because i see both the right and the left vision of this world or society as partially valid ;

with valid points and arguments .

i don't see though nor the right nor the left to be correct in their thinking processes and patterns

in overwhelming majority ;

to a point where i would entrust them with my freedom .

no , i think the leaders have to engage in the war of finding compromises

for the state affairs that occupy the nation .

and for that , a directorial or collegial approach of ruling the central administration

- the way the Swiss and the Bosnians ( and to a certain degree the people from San Marino )

as the only nations on this world do it -

is for me the best approach to succeed to force the executive into compromises

rather than see it maximize profits for the own community while in power

before the opposition wins again to maximize in turn profits for their constituency

.

how western government's expenditures grow and grow and grow .

.

yes , i'm persuaded if you want to stand on the right side of history ,

or on the correct side - to stay politically neutral -,

then you never lose sight of the true center

observe closely the extremes

why not inspire yourself by their ideas

but in the end what counts are makeable and affordable deals .

.

cohesion . compromises . collegiality .

indeed , i feel a bit borderline advocating the directorial executive style

other than for Switzerland .

i'm delusional to think a collegial council would work in Lebanon ,

an idea that can only work in the mind of a solitary Helvète

who doesn't know the hatred and murderous wishful thinking of the Lebanese

who could never unite in a shared executive .

who knows ...

.
