¡ nunca te rindas !

< peruvian > referenda

of course a referendum isn't won
just because it's against a law the parliamentarians voted for .
the people profits obviously as well from laws parliamentarians introduce
and so change comes only slowly .

referenda should allow a minority party to seize the opinion of the people .
it should give the critics a further tool
to stop the majority in parliament in acting illegitimately
- that is against the people's will , even if well-meant .

and so i say ,
should the parliamentary majority refuse to change the constitution
by introducing referenda on national level ,
then the people should refuse these political parties
the parliamentary constitution changing majority in next elections ,
respectively aim for such , as a united people .

and if the people don't succeed , because barely an idea that stands alone is
to introduce the popular referendum into a constitution ,
then the people shall not give up ,
but continue for next parliamentary elections ,
already with the increasing pressure

until it happens :
the people have won back the right to have the last word in politics :
¡ freedom ! dignity ¡
¡ a valid promise for economic and political stability and with it social and spiritual freedoms !

such should it be possible to stop the parliamentarians to introduce laws
which allow them and their cronies , as some would say , to legally corrupt the country ,
to steal money from the nation's vault , as i like to say .

it should be possible to stop them from undermining through to-be-legitimate legislation
the freedoms the poor and the middle class should be able to enjoy ( as well ).

for those fearing already the worst ,
in a further step
the people should introduce as well initiatives :
the popular right to submit new laws .

it will allow the population to unfreeze freshly appearing political inertia ,
that is an elite or certain establishment learning possibly faster or more efficient
how to use a referenda for the same political class responsible for today's miserable status quo
which has its promises for each citizen but demesurate risks as well .

initiatives by collecting signatures for a new law on national level
to create pressure on the suspected detached parliamentarians
for them to search for a compromise that keeps the stability in the country
in the form of equally satisfying the needs of the population .

should they not find a compromise or indulge in ignoring the suffering of the people again ,
so it could be that an initiative is accepted .

( not many initiatives are accepted in Switzerland , which is not a promise , just a statistic ).

both initiatives and referenda
will or could revolutionize political decision making .
it will or could be an awakening of the masses
who will have won back its freedom !

the last word
the first word
a balance of power
a revolutionary evolutionary step , that is what we always say :
solve our problems in political manner ,
arrogantly and diplomatically ,
proudly and stubbornly ,
rather than through self-defeating violence .

i promise by helvetic experience :
a reduction of the need for corruption
in favor of
the creation of a strong middle class
and certain social security for the poor - to not say everybody .

and other specific demands of the majority of the people which i can only guess .
