And in a distant future, humans will be able to send space vessels to other planets in distant solar systems.
But journey will be too long for a man or a woman and their offspring, so earthlings will send androids into the universe that can power off during the journey just to turn on again when landing. Afterward those climate resistant robots will prepare the planet for wildlife in the form of planting trees produced from frozen DNA, as well as animals and finally humans.
Those descendants will maybe be able to communicate with us, the old world, when they arrive early enough, it would be a great moment in human history, an amazing success story and the proof of the power of the will of life and survival.
There is still a long way to go though, from producing such space vessels over inventing the robots that can - actually - master the water, earth, air and fire of an untouched planet to having the technique to reproduce life in the distant universe based on genome from planet earth.
Since it is in the end the only way though to escape the exploding sun of our solar system, i'm sure humans will surpass themselves again and succeed in such endeavor, maybe not today, but surely tomorrow.
