state of war

peace in the palestine

The Israelis continue their settlement policy because it angers the Palestinians and allows to continue the state of war between the two nations that permits the Israelis to oppress the Palestinians and keep them in their precarity as for them not to develop to a wealthier nation that could pose a serious threat to the Israelis through the acquisition of more meaningful weaponry.

But it is a lie that a wealthy Palestine would want to destroy Israel or eliminate the Jews from this planet Earth, because their anger is only the result of the initial and continued aggressions, when all they want is an end to settlement policies, the sharing of Jerusalem as capital of both countries and open borders so they can trade their way to more fortunes again and as well.

I am - or was - missing a will of the Israelis to integrate peacefully and respectfully in the Arab World as brothers and sisters and not as a puppet of a security giving but the region exploiting empire. And i'm still missing sustainable Arab or world solidarity with the Palestinians having lost half their country, needy hence for new land themselves or investments in the efficiency of the infrastructure of Palestine, from stable solar electricity, over clean desalinated seawater, to roads, railway lines and a modern port for trade.

On one hand the Palestinians have to learn that the Israelis are there to stay. And on the other hand the Israelis have to learn that beforehand it has been the Palestinians' homeland and if the Israelis want to settle for real, they will have to elaborate a settlement agreement between the two countries. Something the United Nations as guilty of the situation, having allowed the Israelis to return, should work much more seriously for with them. It could also be though that Israelis and Palestinians have to solve their issues alone together without interference of third forces; of the many people who would want to be part of the solution out of vanity as well but only hinder the search of both sides for a viable compromise.

The goal should be to allow Jewish people to settle not only in Israel but more or less all over the Arab world, especially close to Israel, as well in Palestine, latter maybe not at once. Israelis should be allowed to do to business and travel freely in the Arab world just like the Swiss can enjoy freedom as members of a sovereign nation in the middle of Europe.

The Palestinians will still expect many relatives back and will have to forgive first the Israelis for the expulsion and ( former ) occupation. But at least they can build freely on their own future and integration in the international community with help from their many Arab allies and other friends of their cultures and traditions. Peace, at least.
